Davante Adams Move A Positive For All Involved

Davante Adams and Aaron Rodgers certainly seem excited about this trade, they’re already posting videos together!

On a serious note, they have to get this right. Rodgers is trying to figure his game out, and what better way to do that than to be reunited with your old flame?

They see the game in the same way and with Rodgers it’s all about trust; there’s no one he trusts more than Davante Adams.

If you’re a New York Jets fan, you’ll be intrigued to see there are finally moves being made to try and make the team competitive. I see this as a positive not only for Rodgers, but for the franchise as a whole.

I think his time was up at the Las Vegas Raiders so it was a good trade for everybody. It’s hard when you have a receiver and quarterback who just don’t click, it never works out well.

That’s when you see these receivers move on, and I think this was the right time for Adams to do so.

Amari Cooper And Josh Allen A Scary Sight For Defences

Another trade that caught my eye was Amari Cooper heading to the Buffalo Bills; that’s going to be exciting.

The conversation around the Bills has always been about who is going to be that receiver on the outside who will draw attention from defences. You need somebody who is going to dictate coverage and mandate attention, which is exactly what Amari Cooper will do.

His skillset and style of play as a route runner will certainly help Josh Allen and what he does. It’s all about attacking up the field vertically and he can do that.

If he and Josh Allen can get on the same page quickly then they’ll give defences something to worry about. They could quickly become a dangerous pairing.

Jaguars Must Bounce Back And I Think They Will

The Jacksonville Jaguars are going to have to bounce back at Wembley after their lacklustre performance in the second London game.

Their backs are really against the wall, there’s so much pressure on the head coach and the leaders within the team.

I’m still a big fan of Trevor Lawrence and I want him to play well. We’ve seen that he can make big-time plays and I think he was let down a couple of times by his receivers against the Chicago Bears.

I think Jacksonville will rally together and I’m hoping to see that, but they need to keep a close eye on Drake Maye. He’s a player who really excites me.

We know the New England Patriots don’t have a great team but this game gives the fanbase something to get fired up about, as does Maye.

The Jaguars can beat the Patriots, but if they’re not mentally ready then they could get beaten. For them to win it’s all about not turning the ball over. They also need to run the ball because they didn’t do that well last time out.

What’s also important is that the defensive line has to get after Drake Maye. That is the key.

He’s a young quarterback and they need to pressure him, which means protecting him will be key for the Patriots. That could be the decisive factor in this game.

Prediction: Jacksonville Jaguars to win

Sticking With The Lions To Win Super Bowl Decider

The big game from back home comes from the NFC North, and what a game this is set to be. Minnesota Vikings vs. Detroit Lions, first vs second, I can’t wait.

As we know, I selected Detroit to make it to the Super Bowl and this game could already be decisive in that.

We’re going to learn so much about both teams in this game. There’s so many similarities here, not least in the quarterback position.

Both of them are guys who weren’t lighting it up elsewhere, but now they are thriving in a new place where the infrastructure is built around them and there’s a clear identity in place.

These are both good teams and it’s not simply going to come down to individuals.

Usually all the talk is about a quarterback or one specific player, but these are both great examples of well-rounded teams.

Minnesota are coming off of a bye week which will be very helpful and they’re also at home, so that will play into their hands.

They need to take advantage of that early in the game and start fast, because if they don’t then the Lions will smell blood.

I picked the Lions to make it to the Super Bowl so I have to stick to my guns and go with them to win here. Don’t get me wrong though, I would not be surprised if the Vikings win this game.

Prediction: Detroit Lions to win
