ICE HOCKEY

  • Unless we detail otherwise, any player related-bet which you place for a specific game (which is not a Total bet (as described in the General 888sport Sport Betting Rules)), will be settled on the result at the end of the third period and overtime and penalty shootouts will not count towards settlement of your bet.
  • Unless we detail otherwise, bets will include overtime but will not include penalty shootouts.
  • Settlement of your bet will be determined on the statistics published by the relevant governing association, body or organisation.
Type of Bet Rules
Head to Head
  1. If you place a Head to Head bet, all the participants who are the subject of the bet offer must participate in the relevant game or competition for your bet to stand.
  2. The Dead Heat Rule (as described in the General 888sport Sport Betting Rules) applies in the event of a tie.
Over/Under
  1. All the participants who are the subject of the bet offer must participate in the relevant game or competition for your bet to stand.
  2. The Push Rules (as described in the General 888sport Sport Betting Rules) apply other than where you have the option to bet on a tie.
  3. If you place a bet with respect to the total goals scored in a game which includes any goals scored by each of the teams in overtime or in a penalty shootout, any goals scored by a team during overtime or in a penalty shootout will count as one goal only for such team.

For example, if in overtime a team scores two goals and then scores two penalties in the following penalty shootout, we will deem that such team has scored one goal during overtime and one goal in the penalty shootout.
Tournament Totals Which Are Aggregated Unless we detail otherwise, such bets will include overtime but not penalty shootouts.
