CYCLING AND CYCLO CROSS

  • We will settle your bets on the basis of the relevant rider or relevant team having the best finishing position at the culmination of the relevant stage or event.
  • Your bet will be settled based on the placing provided by the relevant body, organization or association when the podium presentation takes place.
  • For Stage betting, the stage must be completed in full for your bet to stand. In the event of a stage cancellation, or an abandonment midway through a stage, all bets on that stage will be voided.
  • If you place a bet which relies on an event being concluded in full, if the full number of stages for such event is not concluded in full or if the relevant body, association or organization removes stages from the calculation of the result for such event, we will void your bet. We will not void your bet: (i) if the result has already been irrevocably determined; or (ii) if the number of stages removed does not exceed 25% of the scheduled number of stages scheduled at the beginning of the event (excluding any prologue).
  • We may void your bet if the applicable stage or event is not held in the same calendar year, unless the relevant governing association, body or organisation has rescheduled such stage or event in the following calendar year.
  • If you place any performance related bet with respect to a stage and the route of a stage is amended we will not void such bet. If the relevant governing body, organization or association changes a stage which has certain characteristics such as a mountain stage, prior to such stage beginning, to a stage which has other certain characteristics (such as a low lying stage or time trial), any performance related bet which has been placed prior to the announcement of the amendment to the stage will be voided by us.
  • With respect to any bets relating to the performance of a team or rider in an event (such as ‘Will Chris Froome gain the yellow jacket?’) or a 'Head to Head' bet offer involving two riders or two teams, any Prologue and/or Team Time Trial will not count towards the settlement of your bet, unless we detail otherwise.
Bet Rules
Head to Head
  1. If you place a Head to Head bet, all the participants who are the subject of the bet offer must start in the relevant event or competition for your bet to stand.
  2. The Dead Heat Rule (as described in the General 888sport Betting Rules) applies in the event of a tie.
Over/Under
  1. All the participants who are the subject of the bet offer must start in the relevant event or competition for your bet to stand.
  2. The Push Rules (as described in the General 888sport Betting Rules) apply other than where you have the option to bet on a tie.
