888sport Sport Betting Rules

  • The “888sport Sport Betting Rules” (the “Rules”) consist of the following:
    • the General 888sport Sport Betting Rules set out below – these are the rules that apply to bets placed on all events;
    • the Maximum Pay Out Limits (as set out here) – these are the limits that apply to winnings from successful bets;
    • the Sports Specific Rules (as set out here) – these are the rules that apply to bets placed on each different type of sport; and
    • the eSports Specific Rules (as set out here) – these are the rules that apply to any bets placed on eSports.
  • The Rules form part of the User Agreement and apply to your use of betting products on www.888sport.com and any associated mobile application (the “Site”).
  • Reference to '888', 'Company', 'we', 'our' or 'us' in the Rules means the company that you contract with, as set out in the Terms of Service (which form part of the User Agreement). References to 'you', 'your' or 'member' in the Rules means you, the person that has contracted with the Company under the User Agreement.
  • Please see here to review the types of bet which you can place on the Site and the applicable definitions used in the Rules here.
  • It is your responsibility to ensure that the details of the bets which you place are correct. You should check that the details that you enter with regards to your bet are correct prior to placing the bet. You can view the bets which have been accepted by us in your 'Bet History'.
  • The Maximum Payout Limits shall govern with respect to payment of your winnings.

General 888sport Sport Betting Rules

Definitions

The following terms, when used in the Rules, have the following meanings:

Definition  
Dead Heat Rule This rule applies where two or more selections have finished in the same position, drawn or tied (as applicable). The number of selections which you have bet on who finish in the same position, draw or tie (as applicable) will determine your return with respect to such bet. In such event, your bet will be settled at the full odds but your stake will be divided by the number of selections which you have bet on and which have finished in the same position, drawn or tied (as applicable).

For example:

  1. Customer A bets 100 US Dollars at 2.5 on Sergio Aguero to be the top scorer in the Premier League
  2. Customer B bets 150 US Dollars at 21.0 on Marcus Rashford to be to be the top scorer in the Premier League
  3. Customer C bets 200 US Dollars at 6.0 on Sadio Mané to be the top scorer in the Premier League

If at the end of the Premier League Season, all three players have scored the same number of goals:

  1. Customer A will receive: (100 US Dollars \\3 x 2.5) = 83.33 US Dollars
  2. Customer B will receive: (150 US Dollars \\3 x 21) = 1050 US Dollars
  3. Customer C will receive: (200 US Dollars \\3 x 6) = 400 US Dollars

This rule may result in your winnings being less than the stake placed on such bet.
Injury Time Means the amount of injury time displayed by the relevant official (and not the amount of time which is actually played).
Live or In-Play Bet Means a bet placed after the relevant event has started and while it is in progress.
Push Rules Means when you have placed a bet on a Spread, Margin or Handicap (please see section 3 below for a description of such bet types) and your bet ends in a tie when the Spread, Margin or Handicap is taken into account and no tie option was available to place a bet on. Your bet will be voided and stake returned to you, and you will not be eligible to receive any winnings for such bet.
Regular Time and Full Time Means the time period of an event, match or game (as applicable) which the relevant governing association, body or organization determines as the length of an event, match or game (as applicable). By way of example, in football (soccer) this means 90 minutes plus Injury Time (please see above for this definition). This does not include any extra time, overtime or anything similar, unless we specify otherwise.
If the relevant governing association, body or organization determines prior to the relevant event, match or game (as applicable) that it will be played for a different length of time this will be the official duration.
Walk Over Means the awarding of a victory to a participant because there are no other participants, or the other participants have been disqualified or have forfeited.

  1. Acceptance, Cancellation or Voidance of Your Bet

    Bet Offer and Acceptance

    1.1. When you place a bet with us by filling in the bet slip and submitting your bet on the Site, you are making an offer to us to place that bet. We may accept or reject this offer at our discretion.

    1.2. Your bet will only be deemed to be accepted by us at the point when it is recorded on our servers as accepted and is displayed in your Bet History. To find your Bet History through your personal computer or mobile device, you must log-in to your 888sport account and click on the “View Betting History” Tab in the “My Account” section. If there is ever a conflict between what is shown in your Bet History (as displayed on the 'View Betting History' Tab) and what is recorded on our servers, the record on our servers will apply.

    1.3. If your bet is accepted by us (as set out above), you will not be able to cancel the bet (other than via the cash out function detailed below).

    Voiding of any Bet

    1.4. A bet can be voided by us as set out in the Rules, before or after bet settlement. If we void a bet we will return your stake but you will not receive, or be eligible to keep, any winnings (irrespective of the outcome of the bet).

    1.5. We may void any of your bets or any part of your bets (whether before or after bet settlement), and withhold payment of any winnings to you, to the extent: (i) you are found to be acting in conjunction with a third party in any manner whatsoever (whether directly or indirectly) in an attempt to directly or indirectly influence the outcome of an event; or (ii) you are found to be betting as part of a syndicate (where you place a series of bets on the same event, tournament or competition (as applicable) in conjunction with other players).

    1.6. From time to time, errors may occur in our offer, acceptance or settlement of a bet or payment of winnings (whether due to human error or technical malfunction) (each an “Error”). We may void any bet that is in any way affected by an Error. A non-exhaustive list of Errors are as follows: (i) where the odds or terms of a bet are misstated; (ii) where a bet is accepted by us in error instead of being rejected; (iii) where a bet is accepted by us (other than a Live or In-Play Bet) once the relevant event has commenced; (iv) where a bet offer states any incorrect participant; (v) where there is a “palpable error” or “obvious error”, being where we erroneously offer or accept odds that are materially different from those available in the general market or clearly incorrect given the chance of the event occurring. In respect of Live or In-Play Bets (please see the Definitions section above for this definition), in addition to points (i)- (iv), Errors may include: (i) where a bet is accepted at the wrong odds or incorrect price due to the live coverage being faulty, hindered or delayed in any way; (ii) where a bet is placed by you or accepted by us on an event which has already occurred; (iii) where a bet is placed by you or accepted by us after an event which is separate to the one that you are betting on has already occurred or is occurring and such separate event can in any way be considered as contributing to the result of the event bet on (for example, with regards to football (soccer) a free kick is awarded and you place a bet that the next goal to be scored will be by way of free kick); or (iv) if the odds offered are based on a score displayed on the Site which differs from the actual score at such time as provided by the relevant sports governing association, body or organization.

    1.7. We may void a bet and payment of winnings if your bet or any or any part of your bet (whether before or after bet settlement) to the extent: (i) the integrity of the event to which the bet relates is called into question; (ii) the event to which the bet relates is the subject of rigging or fixing; (iii) there is any news which is made public which materially changes the odds or offer we provide you with (for example, where a player who is subject to transfer speculation, sustains a career ending injury and the career ending injury is announced on the television before we have changed our odds on the Site); (iv) price or pool has been manipulated; or (v) any criminal activity whatsoever has affected the result of, or any occurrence relating to, the event to which the relevant bet relates in any manner whatsoever.

    1.8. We may void an Accumulator Bet (please see section 3 below for a description of such bet type) if the outcome of one of the selections in the bet contributes wholly or partly to the outcome of another selection in the bet (also known as a ‘related contingency’). For example, you bet on Liverpool to win the Premier League and Mohammed Sala to be the top goal scorer.

    1.9. We may void a bet placed on a segment of an event, if the event is: (i) played in a different format than the format in which such event is usually played in; or (ii) played in any other format than the one specified in the offer. An example of this would be, if a football (soccer) match is played in three periods of 30 minutes rather than two periods of 45 minutes.

    1.10. We may void a bet on a “Race To” bet (or similar) (please see section 3 below for a description of this bet type) in the event that the listed score has not occurred during the specified period, unless we specify otherwise. For example, in an ice hockey match, you bet on the first team to score three goals by the end of the second period and neither team scores three goals by the end of the second period.

    1.11. We may void a bet with respect to a ‘Winner of a Point of’ or ‘Scorer of a Goal’ if the specified period will not take place, unless we specify otherwise. For example, if you bet on Nadal to win game nine of set three, and the third set finishes 6-2 (meaning there will be no game nine), we may void your bet.

    1.12. We may void any bet which relates to an occurrence materializing during a period determined by us (for example “Next team to have a player sent off”) should it no longer be possible, without any reasonable doubt, to decide the correct outcome. For example, following a foul being given, and prior to the free kick being taken, two players are sent off, one from each team.

    1.13. We may void any bet which relates to ‘Team to Score First and Win’ (please see section 3 below for a description of this bet type), if no goals are scored in such match.

    1.14. We may void any bet with regards to a match or event (as applicable) which does not take place or if a match or event (as applicable) is determined by a Walk Over (please see the Definitions section above for this definition) .

    1.15. We may void any bet with respect to Group Betting (please see section 3 below for a description of this bet type) if all listed participants in the relevant event do not start such event.

    1.16. We may void any Head to Head or Triple Head bet (please see section 3 below for a description of this bet type) which relates to the performance of two or three participants, if any of the participants do not start.

    1.17. We may void your bet if it relates to one or more participant’s performance with respect to a particular event or competition (as applicable) and the participant or participants (does not take part in the event or competition. This may relate, for example, to a bet such as a player's performance against the field.

    1.18. We may void your bet if your bet is placed on a ‘To Qualify’ offer which at the time of bet placement required just one round or stage for the relevant participant to advance to the next round or stage (as applicable), if such round or stage (as applicable) has not been irrevocably concluded within 36 hours of its listed beginning.

    1.19. When betting is offered on whether a participant will continue to hold a specific job description, title or position (as applicable) until a specific date or for a specific period of time (whether in politics, sport or any other field), the participant will need to hold such position continuously from when the bet is placed until the end of the relevant period, otherwise the bet will be voided. By way of example, an offer which states that Bruno Le Maire will be the Minister of the Economy and Finance of France on 31 January 2050, Bruno Le Maire must continually be the Minister of the Economy and Finance of France from the date on which you place your bet until 31 January 2050 (so if Bruno Le Maire resigns and is reappointed to such post you will lose your bet).

    1.20. We will void a Half Time bet or Full Time bet (please see section 3 below for a description of these bet types), if the Regular Time (please see the Definitions section above for this definition) of the match is played in a different time format from the one specified in the offer. For example, if a football (soccer) match is played in three periods of 30 minutes rather than two periods of 45 minutes.

    1.21. We will void any Head to Head bet (please see section 3 above for a description of this bet type), if the Head to Head bet is between two participants and both of them have the same position or score or are eliminated at exactly the same stage. This will not apply if the applicable governing, association, organisation or body (as applicable) implements a tie breaking procedure.

    1.22. If there is an inconsistency in how the participants are displayed (in terms of playing home or away) between the offer on the Site and the official website of the relevant governing association, body or organisation and such inconsistency affects the odds materially, we will void all bets which are affected. For example, we will void your bet if on the Premier League website the match is displayed as Liverpool v Manchester United and the match is displayed on the Site as Manchester United v Liverpool. Your bet will stand, however, where the inconsistency does not affect the odds materially.

    1.23. With respect to Period Betting (please see section 3 above for a description of such bet type), we will void your bet if the Regular Time (please see the Definitions section above for this definition) that a match is played differs to that specified in the offer. For example, if a football (soccer) match is played in three periods of 30 minutes rather than two periods of 45 minutes.

    1.24. Please see the Sports Specific Rules and the eSports Specific Rules for the additional rules that apply in respect of voiding bets for each sport.

  2. Our Cash Out Feature

    2.1. We may provide you with the opportunity to cash out a bet through our ‘cash out’ function prior to the bet being settled. If you choose to cash out a bet, you will receive the amount offered by us at the point that you request to cash out the bet (the “Cash Out Amount”). Once we have accepted your cash out request, your bet will be considered settled (for the Cash Out Amount) and you will receive no further amounts (irrespective of the outcome of the event).
    For example, you place a bet of 10 US Dollars on the double of Everton (6/4 or 2.5) and Brighton (1/2 or 1.5) to win. Brighton win, and the Everton game is about to kick off. The cash out function is available and the Cash Out Amount on offer is 24 US Dollars. If you choose to cash out you will receive 24 US Dollars, even if Everton lose. The 24 US Dollars will be credited to your account, without the Everton match having to be played first.

    2.2. We may not offer the ‘cash out’ feature on all bets and you may not, therefore, have the opportunity to cash out certain bets (even if we have allowed you to do so in the past in respect of other bets).

    2.3. If we inadvertently accept a request from you to cash out a bet when the result of the relevant event has already been determined, we may void the cash out request and you will not receive the Cash Out Amount. In such case, your original bet will stand.

    2.4. We may void and reclaim any cash out where there is indication of abuse of the ‘cash out’ feature.

    2.5. Please note that your cash out request may be subject to delay whilst we process your request. If, during any such delay, we cease providing the offer or the odds change to which your cash out relates, your cash out request will be rejected.

    2.6. If your bet is placed with a Free Bet Token, the amount of the Free Bet Token will be deducted from the Cash Out Amount.

    2.7. We may withdraw or suspend cash out offers at any time

    2.8. If a cash out has experienced a technical error, pricing error or settlement error at any time we may correct such error in accordance with the User Agreement.

  3. Bet Types

    From time to time, we may provide you with the opportunity to place the following types of bets:

    Type of Bet Explanation
    Accumulator or Parlay This is a bet which combines four or more selections into a single bet. You will only win this bet if all of your selections are correct.
    Asian Handicap, Asian Spread or Asian Margin An Asian Handicap, Asian Spread or Asian Margin is a type of Handicap (for an explanation of what a “Handicap” is please see below) where the selections are handicapped according to their form. This means that one participant is effectively given a head start before the relevant event commences. Favourites are indicated by the (-) sign and underdogs/outsiders with a (+).
    For example, a game is played between Liverpool and West Ham. The Asian Handicap could be: Liverpool (-1.5), West Ham (+1.5). In this scenario Liverpool need to win by two goals or more for you to win a bet placed on Liverpool. If Liverpool don’t win by two or more goals, you will lose your bet and those account holders who backed West Ham, will win. Note, there are only two results as the draw result is eliminated.
    Correct Score or Result This type of bet is a bet on the exact score or result of a match, tournament or event: (i) at the end of the match, tournament or event); or (ii) at a pre-defined point (for example, half time) during such match, tournament, or event.
    Draw No Bet On three way markets (where there are three possible outcomes), this type of bet removes the outcome of a tie as a possible selection (for example, if you bet on the result of a football (soccer) match, you could only bet on a team winning or losing) and if the event ends in a tie, you will have your stake returned to you.
    Double Chance This provides you with the opportunity of placing a bet at the same time on two outcomes of the same event, tournament, or match:(i) as at the end of the match, tournament, or event; or (ii) at the end of a pre-defined period during such match, tournament or event. For example, Liverpool v West Ham; West Ham to win or draw.
    Each Way, EW or E/W This is a bet with two separate parts (of an equal stake): (i) one part of the bet is for the relevant participant to win; and (ii) the other part of the bet is for the relevant participant to “place” in one of the positions pre-determined by us.
    Goal Minutes This is a bet that provides you with the opportunity to bet on the sum of the times (in minutes) during a match that all goals have been scored. For example, for a football match, if there were two goals - one scored during the 41st minute and the other during the 65th minute, the sum of the times would be 106.
    Own goals do not count.
    Any goals scored during Injury Time (please see the Definitions section above for this definition) will be considered as being scored in the last minute of the relevant half (for example, for a football match, any goals scored in injury time of the first half are considered as if they were scored in the 45th minute and any goals scored in injury time of the second half are considered as if they were scored in the 90th minute).
    Group This is where we offer bets on a group of selected participants in a single market. The outcome of the event is based on which participant from the group wins. For example, we might offer a Group bet on five golf players in a tournament and the winner would be the player that shoots the lowest round in the group.
    Handicap, Margin or Spread Handicap betting is where one selection in an event is given a 'handicap' which it has to overcome in order for it to win. We may offer you the opportunity to bet on a two way handicap or a three way handicap (European handicap), as further illustrated below, or an Asian Handicap (as explained above).

    Handicap betting may also be referred to as 'Margin' or the “Spread”.

    The following are examples of two way handicaps, where you may bet on a winner or loser (there is no handicap draw option to bet on):

    1. Tottenham vs. Leicester where the handicap is 0-2 (Leicester are given a two goal head start). Even if Tottenham win the game 1-0, if you placed a handicap bet on Leicester to win, you will win your bet, because the handicap makes the score 1-2 for the purposes of the bet.
    2. England vs. France where the handicap is 0-3 (France are given a three goal head start). The final score was 2-0 to England. If you placed your bet on England to win, you will lose your bet because the handicap makes the score 2-3 for the purposes of the bet.
    3. Monaco vs. Lens where the handicap is 3 - 0 (Monaco are given a three goal head start).The final score was a 3-0 win to Lens. In such event the Push Rules (please see the Definitions section above for this definition) will apply to your bet.

    The following are examples of three way handicaps (or European handicap), where you may bet on a handicap draw option:

    1. Tottenham vs. Leicester where the handicap is 0-2 (Leicester are given a two goal head start). Even if Tottenham win the game 1-0, if you placed a handicap bet on Leicester to win, you will win your bet, because the handicap makes the score 1-2 for the purposes of the bet.
    2. England vs. France where the handicap is 0-3 (France are given a three goal head start). The final score was 2-0 to England. If you placed your bet on England to win, you will lose your bet because the handicap makes the score 2-3 for the purposes of the bet.
    3. Monaco vs. Lens where the handicap is 3 - 0 (Monaco are given a three goal head start).The final score was a 3-0 win to Lens. Your “score” (the score that counts for the purposes of your bet) is therefore 3-3. If you placed a bet on Monaco or Lens to win, you lose your bet. If you placed a bet on a draw, you would win the bet.

    For an example of an Asian Handicap please see the description of Asian Handicap given above.

    Unless otherwise stated on the Site, all handicaps listed on the Site are determined from the beginning of the listed event or period (as applicable) to the end of the listed event or period (as applicable). However, for certain handicaps offered in respect of specific sports, only the outcomes from the time of bet placement until the end of the listed period will count.
    Half Time/Full Time This is where you bet on what you think the outcome of an event will be at half time and full time of such event.
    What constitutes the half time and full time varies between sports, as determined by the governing association, body or organization for such sport. For example, in football (soccer) half time means 45 minutes plus any Injury Time and full time means 90 minutes plus any Injury Time (please see the Definitions section above for this definition).
    Head to Head or Triple Head A Head to Head bet is where you bet on the winner between two participants and a Triple Head bet is where you bet on the winner between three participants, in each case over the course of a number of events or tournaments. For example, in motor sport you could place a bet on two or three drivers’ performances over three races.
    Match, 1x2 or Home Draw Away This is where you bet on the outcome at the end of a match, tournament or event or at the end of a pre-defined period during a match, tournament or event. When you do so, you will have three different options:

    1. Home team/Player 1 or the participant listed on the left side of the offer to win;
    X. A tie (or equivalent) or the selection in the middle; and
    2. Away team/Player 2, or the participant listed to the right side of the offer to win.
    Odd/Even This is where you bet on whether something will occur an odd or even number of times during a pre-defined period (for example, the number of corner kicks during the first half of a football match). Zero will be deemed to be an even number.
    Outright or Place This is where you bet on a selection winning or “placing” in one of the positions pre-determined by us. For example, on golf events we may offer you the chance to bet on players finishing inside the top five or ten. For horse racing we will commonly offer the first three places, but this varies depending on the field size.
    Over/Under or Total This is where you bet on whether, during a tournament or event, a specified occurrence will happen more (Over) or less (Under) than a pre-defined number of times. For example, Over/Under 2.5 goals: (i) for an Over bet to win there must be 3 or more goals in the relevant match; and (ii) for an Under 2.5 bet to win there must be two or less goals, in the relevant match.
    Over/Under or Totals can also be three way. If no draw option is provided for you to bet on, and the result is the exact amount, your stake will be returned.
    Period This is where you bet on the result at each separate period during an event, tournament or match.
    Proposition or Prop A Proposition bet is a bet on the occurrence or non-occurrence of an event during an event, tournament or match that does not directly affect its final outcome.
    The types of Proposition bets we offer are:
    1. Clean Sheet: you bet that a team does not let in any goal during a game.
    2. Grand Salami Bets: you bet on the total number of occurrences to materialise (as determined by us) in a specific event, round or specific period (as determined by us).
    3. Fantasy or Virtual Matches or Head to Heads or Mythical Bets: you bet on the imaginary pairing of two or more participants who are not directly competing against each other in the same match, event or round (as applicable).
    4. Quarter or Half or Period: you bet on the score or result in the relevant period determined by us or at the end of the relevant period determined by us.
    5. Over/Under Bets: you bet on the positioning of participants. 'Over' is considered as a lower position or worse position and 'Under' means a higher or better position.
    6. Race To (or similar): you bet on a participant reaching a certain milestone defined by us within in a specified period of time. For example, in cricket you can bet on a batsman to reach 50 runs within 20 overs.
    7. Rest of Match (or similar): you bet on a result or occurrence (as applicable) starting from when such bet is placed (as opposed to the start of the relevant event or match) until the end of the predetermined period.
    8. Result at the end of a Quarter, Half or Period: you bet on occurrences which must happen prior to the end of a predetermined period specified by us.
    9. Specific Time Frames or Intervals: you bet on a result or occurrence materialising within a certain period of time, or occurring a certain number of times during a predetermined period (any Injury Time (please see the Definitions section above for this definition) or stoppage time will not be included in such predetermined period unless we specify otherwise). No other results or occurrences will be applicable unless we specify otherwise as part of the bet offer, on the Site or on the relevant promotion.
    10. Team to Score First and Win: you bet on the first team to score and win.
    11. Team to Win From Behind: you bet on a team from a losing position going on to win.
    12. Winner of or Scorer of (or similar): you bet on a specified occurrence happening. No occurrences happening before the bet is accepted by us are taken into account.
    System or Multiple A System Bet includes various single and Accumulator bets in one bet slip.
    The types of System Bets we offer are as follows:
    1. Canadian or Super Yankee: consists of 26 bets on five selections - one fivefold bet, five fourfold bets, ten treble bets and ten double bets. For you to receive any return on your bet, at least two of your five selections must win.
    2. Goliath: consists of 247 bets on eight selections - one eightfold bet, eight sevenfold bets, 28 sixfold bets, 56 fivefold bets, 70 fourfold bets, 56 treble bets and 28 double bets. For you to receive any return on your bet, at least two of your eight selections must win.
    3. Heinz: consists of 57 bets on six selections - one sixfold bet, six fivefold bets, fifteen fourfold bets, twenty treble bets and fifteen double bets. For you to receive any return on your bet, at least two of your six selections must win.
    4. Live Betting: consists of up to twenty five selections on a single betting slip. All of your selections must win for you to win the bet.
    5. Lucky 15: consists of 15 bets on four selections - one fourfold bet, four treble bets and six double bets and four single bets. For you to receive any return on your bet, at least one of your four selections must win.
    6. Lucky 31: consists of 31 bets on five selections - one fivefold bet, five fourfold bets, ten treble bets, ten double bets and five single bets. For you to receive any return on your bet, at least one of your five selections must win.
    7. Lucky 63: consists of 63 bets on six selections - one sixfold bet, six fivefolds bets, fifteen fourfolds bets, twenty treble bets, fifteen double bets and six single bets. For you to receive any return on your bet, at least one of your six selections must win.
    8. Patent: consists of seven bets on three selections - one treble bet, three double bets and three single bets. For you to receive any return on your bet, at least one of your three selections must win.
    9. Pre-Match: consists of up to twenty five selections on a betting slip. All of your selections must win for you to win such bet.
    10. Super Heinz: consists of 120 bets on seven selections - one sevenfold bet, seven sixfold bets, twenty one fivefold bets, thirty five fourfold bets, thirty five treble bets and twenty one double bets. For you to receive any return on your bet, at least two of your seven selections must win.
    11. Trixie: consists of four bets on three selections - one treble bet and three double bets. For you to receive any return on your bet, at least two of your three selections must win.
    12. Yankee: consists of 11 bets on four selections - one fourfold bet, four treble bets and six double bets. For you to receive any return on your bet, at least two of your four selections must win.
    Teaser Plus or Teaser + This is where you bet the same pre-determined number of points to all results in an Accumulator/Parlay (please see the Definitions section above for this definition) bet containing a Handicap (please see above for an explanation of this), Totals (please see above for an explanation of this) or an amalgamation of the foregoing.
    Like an Accumulator/Parlay bet, you will only win this bet if all of your selections are correct.

  4. Settlement of Results

    General Rules

    4.1. We aim to settle bets as quickly as possible, however, in some instances there may be a delay whilst we wait for confirmation of the results or occurrence of the relevant event.

    4.2. Our settlement of bets will be based on various sources available to us (including, for example, television, streaming, and the websites of the relevant governing association, body or organization).

    4.3. Save where stated otherwise in the Rules, settlement of bets will happen after the relevant event, match or tournament ends and the result is known. Any changes to the result after the original result published by the relevant governing association, body or organisation will not be taken into account.

    4.4. Please see the Sports Specific Rules and the eSports Specific Rules for the additional rules that apply in respect of bet settlement for each sport.

    Abandoned Events

    4.5. All bets that have been determined irrevocably prior to the abandonment or cancellation of an event and could not possibly be altered regardless of future events, will be settled according to the relevant outcome. For example, with respect to football (soccer): (a) if you bet on Mo Salah to score first in a Premier League match and he did, but the match was subsequently abandoned, this abandonment would not void your bet; and (b) if you bet on there being more than 3 corners in the first half of a Premier League match and at the time of abandonment there had already been 4 or more corners, this abandonment would not void your bet.

    4.6. Subject to section 4.7 below, all bets that have not been determined irrevocably prior to the abandonment or cancellation of an event, will be void. For example, with respect to football (soccer): (a) if you bet on Mo Salah to score first in a Premier League match and, at the time of abandonment no player had scored, your bet would be void; and (b) if you bet on there being more than 3 corners in the first half of a Premier League match and at the time of abandonment there had been 3 or fewer, your bet would be void.

    4.7. If an event has commenced but been abandoned prior to the event’s ordinary conclusion (for example, for a domestic league football match, the two halves of such match being completed) and the governing association, body or organisation determines a result of the event within 24 hours of its start (and such determination relates to your bet), we will use that result to settle your bet as long as the decision provided by the governing association, body or organisation does not irrevocably alter the outcome of such bet at the time the relevant event was abandoned. If the outcome of a bet is altered by the decision, we will void your bet. If an event has commenced but been abandoned prior to the event’s ordinary conclusion and the governing association, body or organisation does not determine a result of the event within 24 hours of its start, your bet will be void.
    For example, with respect to football (soccer), if you bet on Liverpool to beat Manchester United and the match was abandoned when Liverpool were winning and the Premier League determined within 24 hours after the start of the match that Liverpool were deemed to have won the match, you would win your bet. If the Premier League made their determination over 24 hours after the start of the match, your bet would be void.

    4.8. We may void a bet if the relevant event or competition does not begin within 24 hours of the official start time as scheduled by the relevant governing association, body or organisation. This will not apply to a bet which relates to an event or competition whose start time has not been issued by the relevant governing body, association or organisation at the time at which the bet was placed. A bet placed on such an event will not be voided by us and will stand.

    4.9. We may void any Grand Salami Bet (please see section 3 above for a description of such bet type), if the relevant match, event or round (as applicable) is not completed. This shall not apply to any bets related to results prior to the abandonment of the relevant event or round (as applicable) which could in no way have been affected regardless of any future occurrence and such bets will be settled by us according to the result.

    4.10. If you place a bet as part of an Accumulator Bet (please see section 3 above for a description of such bet type), and any match or event which is part of the Accumulator Bet is cancelled, your bet will not be voided by us but your selection for the cancelled event will be removed and the bet will stand on the remaining selections.

    4.11. Please see the Sports Specific Rules and the eSports Specific Rules for the additional rules that apply in respect of abandoned events for each sport.

  5. Additional Rules

    5.1. We may at any time suspend all or any betting activity on the Site (including by removing all or some bet offers).

    5.2. Unless we state otherwise, we will not refund any stakes relating to an Outright or Place bet (please see section 3 above for a description of these bet types), on a particular participant or outcome should that participant fail to take part in such event or the outcome does not occur. We may apply Rule 4 (Non Horse Racing and Non Greyhounds) (please see section 7 below for an explanation of this rule) to any offer that is not related to horse racing or greyhound racing.

    5.3. No refund of stakes will apply if the winner of an event, match or tournament was not listed in our bet offer.

    5.4. We will not retrospectively make any changes to any result (even if such result is affected by a participant being disqualified, not participating or being banned from taking part in the next round or part of the applicable event or competition). The disqualification, withdrawal or ban will be deemed to take effect from the time when such participant was stopped from taking part in the event or competition.

    5.5. Any bet which relates to a classification on a certain date, will be settled irrespective of any differences in the number of games or rounds played. For example, if you bet on Liverpool to be top of the Premier League on January 1st and Manchester City are top of the Premier League having played more games than Liverpool you will still lose your bet.

    5.6. In any Head to Head or Triple Head bet (please see section 3 above for a description of this bet type) where the number of participants is three and there is more than one winning result, the Dead Heat Rule (please see the Definitions section above for this definition) will apply. This may result in your winnings being less than the stake placed on such bet.

    5.7. In any Head to Head bet (please see section 3 above for a description of this bet type) relating to a specified round or stage of an event, all participants must take part in that round or stage for the bet to stand and, if they do not, the bet will be void and stakes returned

    5.8. If an event has any pre-qualification stage or round, and you place a bet on a participant who fails to qualify from such pre-qualification, that participant will be considered to have lost to any person who has already qualified or has succeeded in qualifying and you will lose your bet.

    5.9. If an event is postponed or moved within a tournament and your bet requires any participant or participants) to complete two or more stages or rounds in order to advance in the tournament, as long as the postponed or moved event is held during the relevant tournament your bet will still be considered valid.

    5.10. Any references to home team or away team is a reference to the team actually playing at home and away as determined by the official association, body or organization. At times we may display the bet on offer to you as you would find it in America, with the away team playing at the home team. For example, the Baltimore Ravens at the Dallas Cowboys (Baltimore Ravens @ Dallas Cowboys) means that Dallas Cowboys are the home team and the Baltimore Ravens are the away team.

    5.11. If you bet on an event which is played at a neutral venue the bet will still stand whether or not we have stated that the venue is neutral in the relevant offer and irrespective of how the teams are displayed on the Site in terms of playing home or away.

    5.12. Unless we state differently for a specific sport in the Sport Specific Rules, we will not void your bet if an event or match) is moved from the originally designated venue or if there is a change to the surface on which the event or match is to take place (for example, a tennis match moving from grass to clay). This will not apply if the event or match is moved to what is considered to be the home ground of the one of the teams.

    5.13. Your bet will stand with respect to a bet placed on an event or match where the so-called home-field advantage has little or no outcome on the odds with respect to such bet and in cases of neutral venues which they are used for example to play Finals or Semi Final even if the location can be deemed as a potential customary 'home' pitch for either of the teams involved.

    5.14. We do not guarantee that any information made available by us referring to the teams, their make-up, classification or designation is accurate or complete. If such information is wrong or not included, we will not void your bet unless it makes a substantial difference to the odds offered.

    5.15. If a final or semi final (as applicable) of a tournament or competition is held on one of the participant’s home grounds this will still be considered as a neutral venue irrespective of what is displayed on the official website of the governing association, body or organisation or how the participants are shown on the Site (in terms of playing home or away).

    5.16. Any bet which relates to an aggregate amount of occurrences by a participant in a team sport, with regards to a tournament or competition, will only take into account the occurrences whilst the participant is playing in the relevant tournament or competition.

    5.17. If an offer refers to a period of time in minutes, each minute runs from the start of the first second until the end of the 59th second of such minute. For example:

    • If an offer refers to something occurring ‘within the first ten minutes’ (or uses equivalent language), this means between 0 seconds and 9 minutes and 59 seconds.
    • If an offer refers to something occurring ‘between 18 minutes and 22 minutes’ (or uses equivalent language), this means between 18 minutes and 0 seconds and 21 minutes and 59 seconds.
    • If an offer refers to something occurring ‘in the 30th minute’ (or uses equivalent language), this means between 30 minutes and 0 seconds and 30 minutes and 59 seconds.

    5.18. Unless we specify something different in either the bet offer, or else for the applicable sport in the Sport Specific Rules, to win a bet which refers to the duration of an event or match and includes a decimal (such as .5), the relevant decimal must be exceeded. For example : (i) in a Formula One race, if you are offered to bet that the race will last Over/Under 75.5 minutes, Over would be 76 minutes or greater and Under would be 75:59 minutes or less; or (ii) with respect to a boxing match, if you are offered to bet whether a boxing match is to last Over/Under 4.5 rounds, Over would be 5 rounds or more and Under would be 4 rounds or less.

    5.19. Unless we state otherwise, if you bet on a specific player to score one or more goals (or equivalent), an own goal (or equivalent) scored by that player will not count.

    5.20. Medals won by a team or nation with respect to any event count as one medal. For example, if the GB hockey team won gold at the Olympics, this would count as one gold medal.

    5.21. With regards to any System Bet (please see section 3 above for a description of this bet type) we may limit the number of combinations which you can choose.

    5.22. Any reference to the confederation or the nationality (or similar) of a participant will be subject to the definition provided on the Site and not by the applicable governing association, body or organisation (as applicable).

    5.23. If any event officials have not officially recognized an occurrence, that occurrence will not apply to your bet. For example, in football (soccer), if the ball goes over the goal line but the referee does not award a goal.

    5.24. Unless we specify otherwise, we will settle offers based on an occurrence or outcome at the time that the game has been stopped. For example in Rugby Union when a penalty kick is awarded and not when it is actually taken is used to settle your bet.

    5.25. Unless we detail otherwise, in the event that the governing association, body or organisation holds any extra rounds or matches following the conclusion of the regular season to determine the relevant classification or position ( for example, to decide promotion or relegation), we will use the results and outcomes of such rounds or matches to settle any bets placed on such classification or position.

    5.26. During specific events, we may decide to offer a reduced selection of participants for betting and might also include betting options such as 'any other', 'the field', or similar. This option includes all participants other than the ones whose names are specifically listed as available.

    5.27. Any bet which relates to an aggregate amount of occurrences by a participant in a team sport in a tournament or competition, will only take into account the occurrences which the participant plays in in the tournament or competition (and therefore excludes any pre or post season games, play offs or play outs).

  6. Settlement on Certain Offers

    6.1. Bets on the 'Man of the Match' or 'Most Valuable Player' (or equivalent) in an event will, unless we state otherwise, be settled based on the relevant event or competition organizer’s decision.

    6.2. Bets on player transfers will stand only if that player signs a contract with a new club. A loan deal will not count as a transfer.

    6.3. Settlement of any bet: (a) which relates to a participant realizing an occurrence before another participant, is based on when the relevant occurrence materialized in the relevant event(s); or (b) which relates to a participant attaining or completing a certain accomplishment against another participant, is based on when the relevant accomplishment was attained or completed.

    6.4. Mythical, Virtual or Fantasy bets (please see section 3 above for a description of such bet types) are settled after the events or rounds ) that make up the Mythical, Virtual or Fantasy event have been completed, as determined by the relevant governing association, body or organization. If one or more of the events or rounds is cancelled or not completed on the same day as they were scheduled to take place at the time of accepting your bet, your bet will be void. Mythical, Virtual or Fantasy bets are accepted based on the selection’s next calendar event or round (for example, in football (soccer), if you place a bet on which of three players will score the most goals, the next match that those three players are scheduled to play will be used to settle your bet). If any of the events or rounds that make up the Mythical, Virtual or Fantasy event are settled as a Walk Over (please see the Definitions section above for this definition) your bet will be void.

    6.5. For Outright or Place bets (please see section 3 above for a description of these bet types), if two or more participants tie we will settle the bet in accordance with the rules governing 'Win' and 'Place' bets for the applicable sport, as set out in the Sport Specific Rules, and the Dead Heat Rule (please see the Definitions section above for this definition).

    6.6. Each Way, EW or E/W bets (please see section 3 above for a description of these bet types) will be settled based on the rules governing “Win” and “Place” bets for the applicable sport, as set out in the Sports Specific Rules, and the Dead Heat Rule (please see the Definitions section above for this definition).

    6.7. Unless we state otherwise, if you: (i) bet on one participant’s performance in a domestic league; or (ii) place a Head to Head bet (please see section 3 above for a description of such bet type) in relation to two players’ performance in a domestic league, we only take into account their performance in the regular season in settling your bet. For example, no extra matches in any play-offs, post-season or anything similar, will be taken into account.

    6.8. Any bets placed on manager or joint manager changes or moves, will be settled under the Dead Heat Rule (please see the Definitions section above for this definition). Any bets inadvertently accepted after a move has already happened will be void.

    6.9. If you bet on the performance of one or more participants in an event in comparison to the performance of one of more other participants in the same event over a predefined period, only the performance of those participants named in the bet offer will be taken into account (and not any other participants in the event).

  7. Rule 4 (Non Horse Racing and Non Greyhounds)

    7.1. Rule 4 (Non Horse Racing and Non Greyhounds) does not apply to bets on horse or greyhound races.

    7.2. Rule 4 (Non Horse Racing and Non Greyhounds) provides that, if one or more participants due to compete in an event do not take part in such event, the winnings with respect to the remaining participants in the event will be reduced to reflect the fact that it has become easier for the other participants to win (as each participant will have one less participant to beat). The total reduction in winnings (excluding stake) shall not exceed 75%, irrespective of the number of participants that fail to take part in the event.

    A Rule 4 (Non Horse Racing and Non Greyhounds) deduction will be applied to the winnings of a bet relating to a participant winning as follows:

    8.2. We may suspend your account during and until any investigations we carry out are completed.

  9. Disclaimer

    9.1. IF YOU RECEIVE ANY WINNINGS OR BONUSES (OR ANY OTHER SIMILAR BENEFIT) (“BENEFITS”) AS A RESULT OF ANY ERROR MADE BY US OR ON OUR BEHALF (WHETHER TECHNICAL OR MANUAL) IN CALCULATING, ALLOCATING OR DISTRIBUTING BENEFITS, WE MAY VOID THE BENEFITS AND, TO THE EXTENT THAT YOU HAVE ALREADY RECEIVED OR BEEN CREDITED WITH A PAYMENT IN RESPECT OF THE SAME, YOU WILL REPAY THAT AMOUNT TO US OR WE MAY DEDUCT IT FROM YOUR ACCOUNT.

    9.2. THE INFORMATION CONTAINED ON THE SITE (INCLUDING WITHOUT LIMITATION ANY SCORES, TEAMS, FIXTURES, LINE-UPS, STATISTICS OR ANY OTHER EVENT OR PARTICIPANT INFORMATION) IS FOR DISPLAY ONLY MAY NOT BE UP TO DATE, COMPLETE, ACCURATE OR ERROR FREE AND WE ACCEPT NO LIBILITY IN SUCH REGARD.

    9.3. It is your responsibility to ensure that, before placing your bet, you are aware of the circumstances surrounding, and any information relating to, the relevant event (for example the current score and time remaining in the game). This is especially relevant to Live Betting (please see the Definitions section above for this definition).

    9.4. We do not guarantee that all parts of a bet offer are accurate or complete as, for example, there may be different interpretations of materials translated from different languages (such as the translation of a team name). Any differences which occur from translation will not lead us to voiding your bet.

    9.5. We may withdraw a bet offer made available on the Site at any time. We may also modify a bet offer made available on the Site (including by changing the odds) at any time. The odds that apply to your bet are the odds that are made available on the Site at the time we accept your bet (irrespective of any odds that may have been displayed on the Site prior (or otherwise made available to you) prior to or following this).

    9.6. We may change the Live Betting (please see the Definitions section above for this definition) schedule (which provides you with information about which Live or In-Play bets we are accepting on the Site at any time) and suspend the offer of Live or In-Play bets at any time.

    9.7. If you are unable to place a bet for any reason on the Site, we will not be liable to you for any winnings that you could have won, had you been able to place the bet and it been successful.

    9.8. The time taken between you submitting a bet request, and us accepting or rejecting your bet, may be subject to delays. We we will not be liable to you for any winnings that you could have won, had the delay not occurred.

    9.9. Any deadline for placing a bet is for informational purposes only.

    9.10. We may round up or round down percentages, units or other conditions which are vital for the settlement of a bet, in such cases we shall not be liable to you for any of your lost winnings or loss of stake.

  10. Betting Limits and Pay Out Limits

    10.1. We may at any time, prior to a bet being placed by you, limit the amount of winnings (excluding stake) that you will receive if the bet is successful.

    10.2. We may also impose additional limits on the bets that you may place (for example by limiting: (i) the type or category of bet you may place; (ii) the total amounts you may stake or size of each stake you may place; or (iii) the events you may bet on) (“Pre-Imposed Personal Limits”). For more information on Pre-Imposed Personal Limits please see here.

    10.3. In addition to the Pre-Imposed Personal Limits, the Maximum Payout Limits (which can be found here) apply to any winnings from a successful bet.

    10.4. Please note that the Pre-Imposed Personal Limits which we may place on your account may result in your winnings being limited to a lower amount than the Maximum Pay Out Limits.

    10.5. If a Pre-Imposed Personal Limit has been reached and you wish to increase it, you can contact us via Live Chat. It will be at our sole discretion whether to answer, accept or reject any such request by you.

    10.6. We may at any time set or modify Pre-Imposed Personal Limits and/or Maximum Payout Limits (but in doing so this will not affect any bets already placed by you prior to such change).

  11. Pay Outs

  12. 11.1. Odds may be displayed in different ways on the Site (for example as decimal odds (such as 1.1) or fractional odds (such as 1/10)).

    11.2. In the event that you place a successful bet, we will determine your winnings based on the applicable decimal odds, irrespective of any other format (for example fractional) in which such odds may have been displayed (for example at bet placement in the bet slip).

    11.3. Winnings are calculated to the nearest two decimal places and we will round down winnings to the nearest one penny. So, for example, if you win US Dollars 4.096, you will receive US Dollars 4.09.

    11.4. Please note that the combined effect of sections 11.1 to 11.3 may mean that the winnings paid to you are lower than the potential winnings displayed to you at the time of bet placement.
